11 Intentions To Inspire Your Next Yoga Practice

In just about every yoga class, the instructor invites you to focus on an intention. As our teacher Anne Spinner is known to say, picture a blank canvas stretched out in front of you, and imagine painting your intention onto the white space. Imagine setting the painted canvas in front of you. Picture it throughout class, using your intention as inspiration for your practice and beyond.

We believe in the power of setting intentions and living your life as though you’ve already accomplished whatever goals you have. The belief and feeling of positivity and empowerment keeps us on the right path, catapulting us forward toward what we want.

Today, we’re sharing some of our favorite intentions with you!

11 intentions for yoga practice

-I’m not just thinking about what I want to do, I am doing it whole-heartedly and am eliminating excuses.

-I accept fully whatever is coming at me with grace, love and compassion.

-I trust that the universe is giving me exactly what I need at exactly the right time. Everything works out perfectly.

-I can re-create my life at any time.

-I am open to and worthy of receiving love.

-I recognize that everything in life is either an expression of love or a call for love.

-I let go of expectations. I create powerful possibilities.

-I don’t need anyone’s approval but my own.

-I will face my fears to live my dreams.

-I love and embrace all that I am and all that I am not. I do not base my entire sense of self on mistakes I’ve made in the past.

-I choose to build bridges instead of walls.
