5 things I always have in my yoga/workout bag: I can only think of 3. I’m a minimalist. 😊
1. Towel (I sweat like a maniac)
2. Water (always hydrate before and after yoga, but not during – it’s hard on the digestive system
3. Change of clothes (again, lots of sweat – haha).
Favorite fitness-wear brands: Jala clothing. I love the way it fits my body. Not too restrictive, but just enough support. I love how long their tanks are too.
Favorite time of day for class: I’ll take whatever I can get! Haha. Any time of day is my favorite for Yoga. I can always rally for my practice.
Gear that changed my practice: YOGA MAT. It makes all the difference. My favorite mat is the Manduka Pro. It’s heavy but durable. If you have a mat that crumbles or leaves marks, it’s time for an upgrade. Invest in a LIFETIME GUARANTEED Manduka. It’s worth it!
Post-workout fuel: WATER FIRST. Then protein. Lately, I have been enjoying plant protein. While I’m not a vegetarian, I do eat predominately plant-based.
Best gym-to-street tip: Eat carbs, people! Your body needs them for fuel! Don’t diet, don’t restrict, just eat WHOLE FOODS. Organic is best.
