Jen has been with us at The Green Yogi since the day our doors opened, and in that time she has taken over 120 classes! She inspires our Green Yogi community with her bright smile and calm spirit. WHO IS YOUR FAVORITE INSTRUCTOR AND WHY? All of the Green Yogi teachers that I’ve been blessed to practice with are amazing in their own way, but I truly love Mary, Christy and Maria-Christina! They each bring such a beautiful, warm energy to their classes that radiates like a ray of sunshine!
WHAT IS YOUR INTENTION FOR YOUR YOGA PRACTICE? Presence, compassion and gratitude.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE YOGA POSE? Warrior ll; I love the feeling of being strong and grounded, yet light and open.
WHAT SONG SHOULD BE ON EVERY YOGA PLAYLIST? “Aloha Ke Akua” by Nahko and Medicine for the People. Hands down one of the most inspirational songs with a great energy that is a joy to practice to!
WHAT INSPIRES YOU? Joe, my partner in life and love, and all of the beauty and grace of the natural world.
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN PRACTICING AND HOW HAS YOGA IMPROVED YOUR LIFE? I have been practicing for seven years or so. Practicing yoga has been a really wonderful blessing in so many ways, but perhaps most importantly it helps me stay centered and reminds me to breathe during challenging and stressful moments.
