Did you make a New Year’s Resolution?

I did not. I never really do.

After coming back from taking some time off to spend with family and friends over the holidays (we all ended up with the stomach flu!) and catching up on my usual media sources, blog posts, newspapers, etc. everything feels a bit uninspired.

On New Year’s Eve, friends and I were discussing what we accomplished personally and professionally in 2013 and what we’d like to do differently in 2014. I was so inspired by my one friends response, to be adventurous.

Most experts say you have to be specific to make a goal or resolution stick for example, take 200 yoga classes in 2014, eat 2 fruits and 3 veggies every day, sleep at least 7 hours a night… but I’m going to go the opposite direction. I’m taking my friends lead and am going with a theme in 2014. COURAGE.

I like the idea of a theme since it can be applied to everything.

Courageous in love, work, yoga, relationships, family, the kitchen, fashion, activities, the list could go on forever. In 2014, I don’t want to play it safe, I’m excited to push myself like never before.

So what would want your theme for 2014 be? I’d love to hear it!

Be Inspired,

Kelly

I, like you don’t choose resolutions – I choose a new theme for a new year. I find there is so much more power in manifesting a single theme over a list of lofty resolutions.
    2010 was LET GO
    2011 was BE FEARLESS
2012 was EXPECT TO BE DELIGHTED
2013 was ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE
2014 is CREATE TO BE GREAT

Love your COURAGEOUS theme – wishing you an amazing 2014
    Jo
